That works until an audit, a departure, a donor review, or a scale-up exposes the gap. I close that gap: designing SOPs, control matrices, and governance frameworks that a real team can follow, that auditors sign off on, and that survive staff turnover.

My career has taken me from reconciliation and SAP administration at Eagle Insurance, through regional UNDP finance operations, to leading the country finance function at the World Food Programme in Sri Lanka. Across every role, the common thread has been the same: taking finance functions that run on informal knowledge and turning them into documented, controlled, audit-ready systems.
